KumiTap is an NFC sticker and notification service. A customer places a physical sticker somewhere meaningful. When someone taps their phone against the sticker, a notification is sent to the household members who have opted in.
Important: KumiTap is a convenience notification tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional care, supervision, or monitoring. We do not guarantee notification delivery in every case — this depends on the tapper's device, connectivity, and whether the dashboard has been added to the home screen (required on iOS). KumiTap should never be the sole method of checking on a person's safety or wellbeing.
One household represents a group sharing visibility over one or more tags. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of information you provide. You're responsible for only inviting people who have consented to receiving notifications.
KumiTap is billed via Stripe on a subscription basis. You can cancel at any time — this stops future billing from the end of your current period. See our Refund Policy for details on the physical sticker and your statutory rights.
Referral terms are as displayed on the site at the time of referral and may change for new referrals at any time. We reserve the right to withhold or reverse a reward where we reasonably believe it was obtained fraudulently.
You agree not to use KumiTap to monitor someone without their knowledge or consent where they have capacity to consent, attempt to access another household's data, or abuse the referral programme in bad faith.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KumiTap is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or harm from a missed or delayed notification, except where liability cannot be excluded under UK law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence).
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated by email where practical.
KumiTap is operated by Lewis Powell, trading as "KumiTap", operating as a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.
